Item Description
Lot of six from set of 42 issued in 1953. Each is 2.25x3" thick card stock w/single punch-out puzzle piece. The entire set forms one large puzzle. Back text advertises this set, title reads "Howdy Doody Frozen Treats Ice Cream Circus Jig Saw." Additional text reads "Collect 'Em! Save 'Em Trade 'Em/Only Your Howdy Doody Ice Cream Dealer Has These Cards." Card numbers are: 1,15,20,25,27,31. Card 25 had puzzle piece punched loose (now placed back in the frame) and as such has a few lt. creases. VG. Others are unpunched w/just typical aging to margins/reverse. Exc./NM. All cards in this set are rare and we have offered just a scant few in our 46 years.
