Item Description
7" dia. original pressing from 1958. Chess release 1662 featuring songs "Cool Off Baby/Almost." Matrix numbers are "45-8496/45-8497." Each label has hairline surface paper ripples as applied but o/w labels are bright and clean. Vinyl shows slightest surface wear in reflected light. Conservatively graded as Exc. This Rockabilly record is a true rarity and listed in record guides for as much as $10,000 with previous sales having exceeded that amount. IMPORTANT UPDATE- Many people have questioned if this is truly an original issue so we sought out even more expertise on this. This record has been further evaluated by a major expert in the field who has owned other copies and it has been confirmed that this is 100% legit. It was also played and sound quality is excellent.
