Item Description
11x11x1.5" deep box contains nine 3.5x3.5" squares used in a toss-like game. Each panel has a different illustration, each has Batman and a villain. Image of Robin chained up appears in center. Some villains include: Joker, Catwoman, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Blockbuster and The Terrible Trio(The Fox, The Shark and The Vulture). Game is for four players and included four 2" tall lead-weighted pieces of a jumping Batman. These pieces were placed in a flipper and thusly thrown into squares. Manufactured by Spear's Games in England copyright 1966. One of four Batman pieces is missing(blue), and one flipper(green)is missing as well. Box has some wear to edges and some corner tip foxing as well as a .5x.75" area of surface paper lifting in the upper left hand corner of box lid. 1/8" raised break in surface on Batman’s cape. Bottom right hand corner of box lid has fading. Gameboard colors remain bright and clean. Box Fine. Gameboard Very fine. Rare.
