Original 23x37.75" glossy paper poster promoting the 1968 release of The Beatles' ninth official album, a double-album that is commonly known as "The White Album" as it has no graphics or text other than the band's name embossed on its plain white sleeve. Poster utilizes same design as that which came w/the actual album, though this version is larger (album poster measures 22x33.5"). This poster was printed in the US as noted in circular mark at lower left. Top of poster reads "It's Here!" announcing its arrival in record stores. Poster design is made up of numerous photos (many candid) of The Beatles over the years, most shown by themselves as the album was written and recorded during a period of turmoil for the group. Poster has been rolled and has two 1" tears, one at lower left and one at upper right margins as well as chipped lower right margin w/pieces missing from a .75x4.25' section. 8.5" crease at upper right corner. VG, but would frame for a VF appearance. Rare.
