Game consists of 11.5x11.5" Masonite game board, three 3.75" long plastic safety darts w/rubber suction cup tips, two wooden dowels and plastic handle w/rubber band launcher. "The Buccaneers" was a Sapphire Films English TV drama series for ITC Entertainment, networked by CBS in the US that starred Robert Shaw. The series, aimed at children, followed the adventures of Shaw's character and his crew of former pirates as they made their way across the seven seas in The Sultana. The show's initial broadcast of 39 episodes took place Sept. 19, 1956-June 12, 1957. Header card shows Shaw as "Dan Tempest" and has some wear, as does bag. Fine w/contents NM/Mint as sealed. This game is one of the few items produced for this program. Scarce.
