Lot of 36 5x7" magazines "Published by The Department Of The Army For The Information Of Organizational Maintenance And Supply Personnel" in bw/color. Issues were printed between June, 1970 and Dec., 1981. Included are issue #s 211, 293-294, 300, 306-308, 310-314, 316-325, 335-338, 340-349. Each magazine featured instructional cartoon stories for soldiers. This limited distribution manual was started by Will Eisner and then taken over by Murphy Anderson when Eisner returned to his work on The Spirit. Issue #211 has cover by comic book legend Will Eisner, majority of rest have covers by noted comic book artist Murphy Anderson. Verying degrees of handling wear, most w/pinch creases to spine and scattered color rubs as these were Army issued. Fine overall. Lot also includes three 5x7" "PS - The Preventative Maintenance Monthly Index," issues 33-35, for 1978-1980. Two additional booklets are the "DA Pamphlet 750-34 - Preventative Maintenance Of Lead-Acid Batteries" and "TB 9-1200-209-10 - MILES Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System" training pamphlet from Feb., 1981. Battery booklet shows moderate wear and is VG. Others are VF-Exc. overall.
