Item Description
Run of ten issues published by DC Comics between Oct./Nov., 1972 and May/June, 1974. Issues include #s 1-10. Issues feature stories by Len Wein with gothic illustrations by Bernie Wrightson who left the title after ten issues. Varying degrees of lt. handling wear with pinch creases to spines on a few and lt. corner tip wear but issues average VF+. Issue 1 has the lightest trace of wear with a lt. vertical crease at right edge probably as printed. VF/NM. Overstreet value in stated conditions exceeds $600. See item #1706 for Swamp Thing's 1st appearance and item #1862 for the original art used in issue #9 page 8.
