Lot of two. 4"x5 7/8" invitation reading "Governer and Mrs. Roosevelt request the pleasure of the company of C.W.Crannell on Thursday evening, January twenty-sixth, from nine until twelve o'clock, executive mansion./The favor of an answer is requested." The name "C.W.Crannell" has been written in ink. Reverse has "1899" pencil notation. Second is 4x5.25" "Inauguration of Governor Theodore Roosevelt/assembly chamber, capital, Albany, N.Y. January 2nd 1899." States seal is above text. Possibly trimmed. Faint crease upper left. Light tan tone across top. Both have scrapbook glue residue on blank reverses. Exc.
