7.25x7.5x3.75" deep box w/die-cut display lid has illustrations of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf as well as images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Die-cut lid has been punched as designed for display w/creases and wear as well as some scattered faint moisture staining. Box has had glue repair to lid edge. Fine. Contains three-piece set by The Salem China Company and each is marked on underside "S. C. Co. Patriot China." 1930s. 3" tall mug, 7.25" dia. plate and 6" dia. dish. All w/great images including mug which shows the Pigs atop deceased Wolf. Plate and bowl have lt. crazing but remains glossy and all are Exc. overall. Rare as boxed, this is the only boxed set we've offered in our 46 years.
