Item Description
Thick, stiff 18x24" paper has large, obvious moisture line across bottom, but rarity would justify cleaning if desired. Signed on the litho stone by artist J.E. Baker w/small text "Armstrong & Co. Lith - 57 Milk St. Boston." Tiny text on extreme bottom margin "Entered According To Act Of Congress In The Year 1872 By Theodore Tilton In The Office Of The Librarian Of Congress Washington D.C." In larger text is Greeley's facsimile inscription "Yours For Universal Amnesty And Impartial Suffrage, Horace Greeley - Chappaqua, N.Y. June 30, 1872." A rare large print and the only example known to us.
