Item Description
3.25x8x9" box holds 7 3/4x8.5" celluloid over metal plaque. Illustration on plaque and one side of box depicts a braying donkey standing on an oval reading "46 to 2" referring to the results of the 1936 election. FDR carried 46 states to Landon's two. Text also includes "The Will of the free people." Back of plaque reads "Reid's Mirr-o-glass plaque/manufactured from a secret formula under the direct supervision of the/Reid Publishing Co. Milwaukee, Wisconsin." Back of plaque has unused metal standee as well as brass chain for hanging. Reverse side of box shows portrait of FDR w/ text reading "Victory Souvenir Emblem/A Nations Tribute The Benefactor of Mankind." Box has insignificant tears to top of flap but remains sturdy and VF. Plaque is Mint.
