Matching pair of 10.75" dia. "Patent Ironstone China" plates w/design in blue and red. Produced "To Commemorate The Visits Of Their Majesties King George VI & Queen Elizabeth To The United States Of America" in 1939. At center of each is image of the US Capitol and small portraits of the King and Queen at top center and FDR portrait at bottom center of plate. Made by Mason's of England as marked on back of each plate. Mint.
