Item Description
8.5x11" "Wanted For Murder" sheet w/photo image of New York Governor and later Vice-President Nelson Rockefeller. Rockefeller's name has rather negative "The Butcher Of Attica" moniker underneath, relating to Rockefeller's ordering state police to take back control of the rioting Attica Correctional Facility. When the uprising was over, at least 39 people were dead, including ten correctional officers and civilian employees. NM. Second, larger poster measures 17x22.25" and shows masked prison rioters w/"We Are Not Beasts, And We Do Not Intend To Be Beaten Or Driven As Such....What Has Happened Here Is But The Sound Before The Fury Of Those Who Are Oppressed" quote and large "Attica" name at bottom.
