22x28" half-sheet on stiff paper is for the original 1941 Monogram Pictures release of "Spooks Run Wild," the seventh film in the East Side Kids series that starred Bela Lugosi, Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, and Bobby Jordan. This is one of two different half-sheet designs issued for this film, this variety shows a cape-wearing Lugosi w/nurse about the be punched by man at left w/inset image at lower right showing the Est Side Kids standing over a cowering, tuxedo-clad Lugosi, one holding a skull in hand. The other poster design only featured one image of Lugosi and didn't have the three ghost images used for this design. Poster has been rolled and shows obvious wear, w/two 1" tears along left margin and two .75" tears along right margin w/brown tape repairs on reverse. Pinholes at corners, poster has scattered creases and dust soiling. VG. Rare.
