Item Description
8.75" long tin litho w/built-in key. 1931. One of the earlier versions of the eccentric cars, this has a large early Marx logo on both sides of tank in back as well as "Coo Coo Car Louis Marx & Co. New York" text. Toy works and this particular car features the driver lifting up and down as well as traveling about in an erratic fashion and rearing up and down every now and then. Edges of grill/hood, seat and tank show traces of bare metal. Wheels have scattered paint wear to the rims. One back wheel has 1" streak of oxidation to rim. Rest of toy has a few paint nicks as well. Fine.
