Item Description
Large 8.25x19.5x10" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. 1950s. Toy features great lithography w/images on outside of skiers and ski lodge. Same design concept as Chein's roller coaster toys, instead of roller coaster tracks, this is simulated ski slopes. Comes w/pair of 1.75" long tin litho wheeled skiers. The elastic has been professionally replaced and toy works perfectly. The elastic band lifts the skiers up an incline and they then travel down and around the track all while a loud bell ringing sound is produced. Scattered minor paint nicks/scratches and some minor bends to track resulting in some bare metal showing on edges. Fine. Great design and much scarcer than the similar roller coaster toys.
