Item Description
Box contains pair of 10" long canvas shoes w/rubber soles/toes by Randy Mfg. Co. Inc. c. early 1970s. Several styles of Peter Max-designed shoes were made by Randy, and all are highly sought after. Box is marked "Randy's" and shows man running through starfield w/"Peter Max" name/logo under his arm. Rainbow above text has doves at ends. Shoes have "Peter Max By Randy" text on heel and on insoles. Complete w/original "Randy" packaging/paper. Box has some handling wear w/edge/corner tip wear. Fine. The shoes' rubber soles have hardened w/age. Rest of shoes are evenly aged and VF overall. From the David Baker Collection.
