Lot of five 7x9.5" packages of Burlington Cameo pantyhose w/designs by Peter Max. c. 1970. Two come in original Max illustrated boxes. Colors are - "Cafe Brazil, Candied Violet, Frosty Grey, Emerald" and another orange/rust colored pair. Each feature nice Max design and these patterns appear at the knees or on the thigh, depending on size. Sizes are - Petite, Average and Tall. The attractive insert cards that feature Max art have a photo at center of women (three different) wearing mini-dresses as well as the particular pair of pantyhose in the package. There is a repeated Max Toulouse Lautrec poster design in the bkg. Inserts shows lt. handling wear w/some scattered age spotting but all but one remain sealed by two thin tape strips on back flap. One boxed example has this popped loose. Boxes are VF/Exc. w/very lt. corner tip wear. Inserts are VF-NM w/contents Mint as packaged w/exception of one unsealed pair, which has some scattered lt. aging and is VF/Exc. Rare as boxed. From the David Baker Collection.
