Item Description
c. early 1940s.All have punch-out covers. Sizes range from 10.5x12-3/8”to 10-7/8x14”. Smaller pair published by Merrill, large book published by Samuel Lowe. Front and back covers are different on each. First two have dolls w/full rank and name. Includes: “Captain June Evans, First Lieutenant Nancy King, Lt. Janet Willis WAVE, Lt. Doris Stuart Marine”. “Girls In The War” book has unusual format w/differently named dolls in different uniforms on front, inside front, back and inside back covers. Book's five dolls are thus turned into ten dolls w/included clothes page for each. All have trace of lt. cover edge wear, one has ink date at top of front cover. Unused and Fine/VF. Great graphics. All are scarce.
