Item Description
18x24" mat has 9.75x13.25" and 10x13.25" openings around newsstand cardstock sign advertising Aug. 8-15, 1964 issue of "The Saturday Evening Post" magazine that had The Beatles on its front cover. Sign has cover photo in bw w/"Summer Madness: The Beatles Are Back!" text and goes on to state "8 Pages In Color In This Issue." Scattered faint age spotting, most of which blends. Sign is held to mat via pair of tape strips on reverse and could be removed from mat if so desired. Fine. Comes w/complete issue of the magazine advertised on the sign. Sign is scarce. If framed, would make for a wonderful display. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
