20" long pressed steel and tin litho truck No. 270 comes in original box. Also comes with catalogue booklet which is No. 5 in the series titled "Bobby Wins Out" and is dated 1957. Box has tanned and has obvious dust soiling, front panel has partially removed mailing label. Fine. This interestingly designed truck includes battery operated single units, one attached to the truck while the other is "portable" and these come with 25 feet of wire. One is missing light bulb. Printed on each is "International Code." Both have some scattered tarnish to the tin parts. The plastic wire spool attached to the bed of the truck has some aging but set itself is unused old store stock although has not been tested. Much of the silver luster is off of the separate tin headlights. Set has other additional very light wear but remains Exc.
