Item numbers 1 through 1234 in auction 207
Item Description
Stickpins are 1.5" to 3.25" tall. The red apple cello flip is 1" in dia. First stickpin with high relief dog has reverse text "Farmers Deposit Saving Bank Pittsburgh 1912." Second is the flip promoting The Famous MacIntosh (Red) Apple. Reverse has text "Compliments Of The Bitter Root Valley Irrigation Co." Next is short stickpin with cello picturing "Saginaw Silo." Next are pair of stickpins reading "Plymouth Twine." One is in Mint brass luster while the cello has just a little age on the rim edges. Next figural ear of corn reading "Kersten & Smiley Plainfield, Ill." Next is brass over white metal with several metallic pieces apparently representing the weave pattern of a wire fence. No text. Next shows bull and bear with reverse text "Murphy Grain Co. Kansas City, Mo." Last is stickpin with 1.5" celluloid containing numerous small brown seeds. Rim text reads "Come To the 'Lake Region' North Dakota Where One Crop Of Flax Pays For The Land." Single pinhole in the cello covering. All pieces display Mint with small exceptions as noted. Early 1900s for the most part.
