Item Description
This piece is flat brass 2.5" wide. On the bar above the slot opening is small makers stamp "J. Robbins/Boston." The serial number on the piece is "1074." Brass is darkening around the side and lower edges but otherwise no damage. Almost certainly from the 1800s. The only example of its type we've seen for a stage company.
