Item numbers 1 through 1234 in auction 207
Item Description
6.5x11” company used blue velvet-covered board with velvet cover that snaps closed holds 11 litho tin buttons representing 2 distinct sets from the 1950s, both listed in full in Hake’s book Buttons In Sets. There are 12 buttons in the jet plane set and the group here is for 5 of those plus 1 duplicate. Each is 1”. The Space set is 5 of 13 known and this includes the extra large 1-3/8” button reading “Sky Observer/Space Satellite/Official.” This has tiny hairline at the bottom of the Sputnik-style satellite but showing very little. The other four buttons are 7/8” and titles of these are “Space Cadet/Moon Man/Sputnik Space Dog/Space Rangers.” Other than the small noted defect, these are all uncirculated examples in essentially Mint condition. Comes with Hake’s COA.
