Item Description
2-3/8" wide oval with decorative outer rim surrounding oval center with high relief design of crossed tennis rackets and four balls plus the caption "Lawn Tennis." Reverse has raised brass bar for the belt to go through and a raised flange of metal to secure the buckle to the metal piece that would have been on the opposite end of the belt. No other markings. c. early 1900s and the earliest tennis item we've seen. Exc.
