Item Description
Sizes are 7/8” to 2-1/8” and four of the pieces have additional ribbons. First is 1.25” real photo of “Mines & Metallurgy Building.” Second is single day issue for the Elks. Third is for “Ohio Day.” Fourth reads “I Am A Kansas City Booster…” Noticeable stain on left edge. Moving to second row is another tinted real photo showing “State Exhibit Building.” Light wear on the ribbons. Next is multi-color showing Columbus with ribbon issued by “Knights Of Columbus” dated and with text relating to the Expo. Next is real photo of John Smith statue with lightly worn ribbon from the “American Pomological Society” dated for a September meeting at the Expo. Next is 1.25” showing “New Jersey” building. Next shows horseshoe and was issued by a labor group with the initials “M.H & B.P.A. Of W.” Although dated for around the opening date of the Exposition the local was located in “Bellingham, Washington.” We are not sure how this relates to Jamestown. Next is dated button for 1907 with text “Mozart Lodge” but no direct reference to Jamestown. Next is dated 1907 button inscribed “Baltimore-Jamestown.” Last are three identical buttons showing American flags with Exposition name and date. The button showing Smith statue has age at lower right and the button with text “Mozart” has a couple of light age dots. These plus the Kansas one are the only buttons with visible aging. Others are Exc. to Mint with many rarities.
