Item Description
All of these are 1.25”. The last nine in the group have celluloid hairline cracks ranging from a single crack to multiple cracks. Also one other button has a hairline crack and that is the 1.25” for “Cardinal Spellman” with red accent. Buttons date primarily from the 1920s into the 1950s. Those identified as Cardinals include Dougherty, Farley (2), Gibbons, Hayes (2), Mindszenty (3), O’Connell, Spellman (3). Except for the nine with cracks and one or two other very minor exceptions these display NM to Mint. The most extensive collection we’ve ever seen.
