Item Description
1.25” with 1897 W&H backpaper. Scene shows Indian smoking long pipe seated next to a campfire and next to a full figure woman holding basket of flowers. Several teepees in the background. On the Indian's leg are exceedingly tiny letters “T.O.T.E.” which is an acronym used by the Red Men fraternal group. Plate example from Collectible Pin-Back Buttons section Indians #59. Exc. and displays Mint. Comes with Hake’s COA. Only one we’ve seen.
