Auction #207 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1234 in auction 207
Item Description
Smallest is 7/8” with text “Wanted For Murder/Adolf Schickelgruber Alias ‘Hitler’”. While this button is seen frequently in a 1.25” size this is the much scarcer 7/8” version. Some spots of luster off the reverse collet but the cello remains Mint. The second has Hitler caricatured as the devil with horns and being hit in the chin by a fist. Text is “Eat To Beat The Devil.” This 1” litho was a give-away button by Servel, maker of refrigerators. Reverse has .25” oxidation mark and slightly larger loss of gray paint but the front still displays VF with only minimal wear.
