Item Description
Each is about 7” long. Bottom five in our photo carry the word “Sterling” while the top reads “1/8GF10K LGB.” This one has emblem of parachute surrounded by wings. Next is quite large and heavy also with parachute/wing emblem. A few light scratches on the plate which does not carry any inscription. Third has aviator wings with hand engraved name below “Dominick Lentini.” Reverse has serviceman’s engraved serial number. Next has high relief wings plus bombardier emblem on the front. Reverse hand engraved “DEC. ‘44/Allan A. Blynd/Eleanor.” Fifth also has wing design with shield. Underside has hand engraved text “U.S. Army Air Corp” with a serial number. Last is Canadian in origin with “RCAF” enamel and wing design on the front while reverse has hand engraving “Barry To Dad/29-3-44.” VF to NM.
