Item Description
This high quality marionette was made in 1933 by Hestwood Marionette Studio of Glendale, CA. and sold exclusively at Bullock's Wilshire Department Store in Los Angeles. 12" tall marionette has wood/composition body w/felt ears, velveteen pants w/mother-of-pearl buttons and stuffed velveteen arms. Complete w/long string tail. Wood controller unit attached by original strings. Paper labels under feet, one w/thin sliver off edge but all text remains. Missing one button from back shorts, o/w marionette is complete and all original. Appearance remains totally bright and clean, composition parts remain glossy. VF. See matching Minnie Mouse and Pluto marionettes #2028-29.
