Silvered brass tie bar is 2.5" long. Mounted at center is full figure enamel of Wimpy holding small hamburger in his hand. Mint. Next is same image of Wimpy but this time 1-3/8" tall. The hand with burger has a chain link leading to a loop on the edge of a 7/8" tall enamel on silvered brass duck. This enamel pin, the first we've seen including the duck, is apparently inspired by the cartoon "Popeye The Sailor Meets Sindbad The Sailor" from 1936. In the cartoon a duck shows up on Sindbad's island and Wimpy exclaims "Ooh, Luncheon!" He begins to follow the duck with a meat grinder but it escapes him and Wimpy says "Fowled Again...I Must Resort To My Last Hamburger", which is then stolen by the duck. Both pieces are essentially Mint. A rare pair.
