9" long painted metal base w/wood wheels and a wooden Ferdinand figure w/paper labels. Attached at front is a metal bell and inside of this is the original fabric flower which has come loose and has been reattached w/piece of tape on underside to hold it in place. ©1938 and one of several Ferdinand toys produced by N.N. Hill, all of which are rare. Has original pull string and Ferdinand moves his head up and down as the bell rings. Scattered trace of age spotting and small paint wear to base but clean overall. Bell has all over oxidation. Fine. Rare, our last example in similar condition sold for $1,473.
