Item Description
c. 1950s. 6.25" all tin litho toy w/built-in key. Box illustrations include Donald's nephews. Box has edge wear w/a few small corner tears and .75" tear at one bottom corner. Box has some scattered handling wear and is evenly aged. VG. Toy depicts Donald holding a pair of drumsticks and attached to his stomach is a drum w/"Donald The Drummer" name and portrait on drum head. Two versions of this tin toy were produced, one in which Donald walks forward as he plays the drum and this one that stands stationary while he drums. Both toys came in totally different boxes. Scattered minute paint nicks but totally bright and glossy. Typical aging on rear end at tabs. Still a VF/Exc. example. Works.
