The example here is missing a top brass bar pin that read "Tip-Top League." A small loop joined the bar pin to this lower die-cut brass piece with 5 cross segments surrounding center area with text and raised portrait of Frank Merriwell. About 70% bright original luster remains and areas without luster are clean with exception of slightly darker 1/8" dot on right bkg. and couple tiny darker marks on lower right cross segment.
