Item Description
1" issued c. 1939 with the comic book title at center while below is shield design with text "Junior Federal Men Club" with larger text top and bottom "Special Operator." The creators of Superman, Siegel and Shuster, did the "Federal Men" stories. This comic began with the title "New Comics" in 1935 and with issue #12 the title changed to "New Adventure" and beginning with issue #32 became "Adventure Comics Magazine." This publication was part of the foundation of DC Comics. The button has four light gray small spots on upper left quadrant. Still with unfaded color and full gloss. An historic and rare comic book club members button. Our last example minus any age traces realized over $300.00.
