As noted in Overstreet, this is the "First Disney Book By Strict Definition." Illustrated text refers to Clarabelle as Caroline and Horace Horsecollar as Henry. The name Donald Duck appears w/a non-costumed generic duck, not in the context of the character that later debuted in "The Wise Little Hen." Book features choice full color art on every page. DJ has some small pieces missing at top and bottom of spine and small tear along top front margin. Inner flaps have been clipped, but DJ is still Fine overall. Cover has very lt. cover wear, mostly at corner tips and contents are bright and clean. Still a solid VF/Exc. copy of this historic book.
