Item Description
Lot of two clay figures measuring 5.25 and 7.25" tall. Manufactured by the Will Vinton Studio. Were produced for a never-aired segment for the series finale in 1998. Included here are two such figures w/bodies manufactured from painted soft foam and wire apertures w/clay heads. Figures are of George (Jason Alexander) and Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). In the segment these figures were to be used, the claymation characters morphed into super heroes w/Jerry as Superman, Kramer as Plastic Man, Elaine as Wonder Woman, and George as the Incredible Hulk. The George figure shows an angry countenance as he is about to transform and Elaine is looking up. Elaine also has clay hands. Clay parts of figures have some wear as these were designed to be moved/molded frequently to achieve the appearance of movement/transformation. Soft foam bodies have some moderate wear due to multiple changes to the wire apertures, resulting in some tears in which the foam has begun to degrade. Both figures still display nicely and likenesses are good. Comes with a VHS tape copy of the sequence. Unique pieces of TV history.
