Lot of nine painted and glazed figurines 4" to 8.5" tall. 1940s. There are four different versions of Bambi, two w/butterflies on tail, (different style yellow and blue butterflies). Lot also includes figurine of Faline, Flower, two color variations of the same Thumper figurine (gray and brown) and Thumper's Girlfriend. This lot comprises eight of the nine different figures produced by American Pottery/Shaw for this large size line, missing only one Faline figurine. Bambi figurines w/butterflies both have original Shaw foil stickers, though one w/yellow butterfly is worn. Brown Thumper and Flower have partial labels on back/side. One Bambi figurine has American Pottery mark on underside. One of Bambi's hooves has pinpoint chip only noticeable when viewed closely. All remain Exc. overall. Nice group.
