3.25x5.25" two-sided card has "Roy Rogers King Of The Cowboys Sundial" text plus nice photo of Roy and Trigger and facsimile signature "Many Happy Trails Roy Rogers & Trigger." Reverse has text instructions. Thrift Novelty Co. Inc., Denver, CO. Left side of card has die-cut slot which holds 1-7/8" tall generic brass octagonal case "Explorer's Sun Watch" sundial which has no Roy Rogers markings. Underside has silvered metal to serve as reflecting device while front has inset glow-in-the-dark dial that still glows brightly. In addition there is a hinged brass needle to tell time plus an inset compass. The glow-in-the-dark plastic varies slightly in color tone and some of the black accent paint on the numerals/lines shows wear but overall still Fine w/nice luster. Card has some lt. wear at die-cut slot but is o/w VF. Rare.
