Item Description
c. 1965. Original box contains 11.25" long tin litho battery-operated car with wired remote control and "normal run", "machine guns" lever and "ejector" button. Box graphics depict foe being ejected through roof in warehouse. Inner cardboard inserts in place and clean. Box has moderate overall wear, bottom and top have one split corner each and Fine. Similar to the battery operated toy by Gilbert, but this piece is unlicensed, made in Japan and is unmarked. Five action features. Car functions with some coaxing and ejector seat operates but not every time button is pushed. Lt. wear and Exc. Ejector figure is present with a full figure as opposed to the Gilbert head and shoulders figure. Also full roof panel opens on this version. A very nice example of this scarcer variety.
