Item Description
Lot of five tin litho banks designed to look like books. Four 3x3-7/8x1.25" deep banks from "Toy Bank" nursery rhymes set include Vol. 1-4 - "Tom-Tom The Piper's Son, Simple Simon, Old Mother Hubbard" and "Old King Cole," each w/accompanying repeated illustration on front and back "covers" w/verse. By Kirchof, c. 1930s. All are complete w/original traps. Last is 4x5-5/8x1.25" deep similarly designed "Pirates" bank that has image on front "cover" only. Chad Valley, c. 1930s. Scattered lt. wear w/some minor paint nicks/scratches. Banks are bright and glossy, VF overall.
