©1944 Marted of Baltimore designed by long time “Baltimore Sun” cartoonist Richard Yardley. See Yardley designed set #1251. 9x12” envelope has cover art of laughing vulture atop Nazi flag pole watching Hitler trying to dodge “Bonds Buy Bombs” falling bomb. Game sheet unfolds to 17.25x22” w/elaborate map of Germany surrounded by invading Allies w/humorous images of the Nazi war effort falling apart. Hitler wears a Napoleon hat hiding in the Alps, he looks nervous behind Himmler at radio station w/Goebbels on microphone, soldiers are forced to fight at gunpoint at the Siegfried Line, one dives for shelter in Dresden foxhole. Comes w/ pair of 8.75x11” sheets, one for instructions and the other w/12 bombs to cut out for game use. Envelope has edge wear and creasing. Good. Contents are unused and Exc. Highly detailed w/great design.
