Item Description
23” long wooden rod w/tassels holds 17.5x25.5” felt banner w/"316th Inf.” shield and eagle in center. Light aging and slight fading but still Fine. The 316th would go on to win a major battle against the Germans east of the Meuse and north of Verdun, France November 4-6,1918. Germany surrendered Nov. 11. Wonderful association piece.
