Item Description
6.25x9.25” high quality hardcover for event held held by the theater owners of New York March 29 at Waldorf-Astoria hotel honoring Zukor’s “ 25th Anniversary In The Motion Picture Industry”. Front cover has nice photo of Zukor surrounded by silver foil. Contains eight pages . Congratulatory page text includes “You Have Fought, But You Have Fought Clean All The Way”. Inside pages have moisture marks and light rippling. VG. Cover is unaffected and VF. Zukor (1873-1976) began his career in 1903 as a partner in a nickelodeon business, going on to form the Famous Players film company in 1912. The company evolved into Paramount Studios, with Zukor becoming president and later chairman of the board. He initiated the concept of producing, distributing, and exhibiting movies at one studio. Extremely limited distribution.
