Item numbers 1278 through 3040 in auction 208
Item Description
Box contains complete late 1960s spy set by Redbox, who produced a variety of Bond-inspired, Gilbert-like toys/sets. This is by far the largest and best of them, being designed like the classic Multiple Products James Bond "Secret Agent 007" attache set (see item #2825). 9.5x13x1.5" deep vinyl-covered "Weapon Set For Special Agent Of Red Box" briefcase that opens to reveal 8.75" long plastic "Special Agent 707" pistol w/scope, rifle stock, two grenade missiles, plastic handcuffs w/keys, passport booklet, "Redbox 707" spy camera/squirt gun, cardboard "707 - Gold Tip Cigarettes" case w/spring-loaded plastic tray that conceals small pistol and small plastic case containing nine small plastic bullets for small gun and nine larger bullets for pistol. Additionally, set contains two 1.5" silver luster plastic badges, one reading "Special Agent 707" and the other "International Special Agent." Case tray remains factory sealed and set is NM overall. Box shows lt. wear, mainly at corners and scattered aging. Fine. Great designed set.
