“Salute!” #31 made by Selchow & Righter is c. late 1930s-early 1940s. Box is 9.25x18x1.5” deep w/lid art of boy and girl saluting Uncle Sam who is holding patriotic shield. Box has dust soil and edge wear. Fine. Game board is based on identifying military ranks. Missing one small die and one purple marker, otherwise contents including original flag on stand are complete and Exc. ”Flag Game” is ©1943 by Parker Brothers. Box is 11x16-7/8x1.5” deep w/lid art of flag waving above Lincoln watching American progress. Lid is faded w/edge wear. VG/Fine. Game is based on the history of America. Contents are complete, including six flags on wooden stands. Playing pieces have lt. wear, overall VG/Fine. Both have great patriotic graphics.
