Item numbers 1278 through 3040 in auction 208
Item Description
2.5x9.75x14" plastic case by Multiple Toymakers. Mid-1960s. "B.A.R.K." stands for "Bond Assault Raider Kit". This smaller plastic case has a yellow foam insert holding a dart firing pistol with a smaller cap firing pistol that fits neatly inside of the larger dart gun. Contains two darts: one fires caps when it strikes the ground and the other has a compartment for firing a secret message that can be placed inside. At the top edge of the case is a grenade launcher that stands up and fires three mortar style plastic projectiles. Plastic shield emblem on outside of case has "007 logo/JB" and is a secret trigger for firing the dart gun from inside of the case through a hole on one side. This case is scarcer to find than it's larger brother (see item #2825). Case is complete. Dart gun has a .5" triangular chip out of backside of gun and gold tone worn from logo. Cap gun doesn't stay cocked by itself. Grenade launcher is wired to stand, can't be seen unless closely examined. Case itself has 1.25" crack at hole on side. VF. Defects aside, this is a tough piece to find complete and still displays Exc. overall.
