Copyright 1949, designed by Frank Studios. “#33 Service Station” cardboard box is 4.25x16.5x25.5” tall. Worn. VG. Tin litho station assembles to 16.25x24.75x10.5” tall overall. Comes w/some plastic accessories including two 1949 Cadillacs. Early double decker set w/great play value includes car wash, Lubitorium, plastic gas pumps hold water which can then be used to put in cars. Water is then released as “oil” by pressing buttons on car hood. Rack goes up and down and oil is released into provided tin “waste pan”. Also has manually operated lifting door, air hose, lube rack w/pump. The clear plastic showroom window is usually missing, but is here and Fine. Hoses are a bit hardened from age, string air hose no longer retracts. Trace of lt. wear, but overall bright and Fine/VF. Superb design, great for display.
