5.5x14x1" deep glazed china tray. Left side features image of Minnie w/umbrella, opposite side depicts Mickey. "Walt Disney" name in tiny letters under each. Small image of Pluto at center w/small "Lt Disney" text underneath. Underside has incised "148 Frie Onnaing Made In France" text. 1930s. This along w/a wash bowl and pitcher are the largest and most impressive pieces produced by this French company also known for their Disney-related tea sets, dishes and figural banks. Noticeable wear to bright silver accent highlights along edges and side handles. Some scattered lt. traces of aging under the glaze along extreme edges and to some craze lines around Minnie but really only visible when viewed closely. Images themselves have some tiny dots of missing color but remain distinct. Tray has a bright and glossy appearance overall. Fine. Rare.
